# Expense Entries
This lesson describes the functionality and purpose of expense entries on the **Activities** page in AgileCase.
## Accessing expense entries
To access the expense entries page, select the **Activities Tab** on the main toolbar and click the **Time & Expense Entries** button below.
## The Activities page
The Activities page contains all expense entries made on the system, as well as the option to add a new expense, which is covered in [this](/user-documentation/the-case-tab/the-expenses-tab.md) lesson.
This page allows you to quickly review all expenses claimed by users on your system.
## What are expense entries?
Expense entries are used to record one-off expenses, such as a fixed-fee case or travel expenses, claimed on the system.
A user can enter a description and an amount, as well as the relevant tax rate. The expense will be logged against the case for use in invoicing.
