# Account Lockout
If you enter the wrong password too many times when attempting to log on, you will eventually be locked out of your account. This lesson will show you the process of being locked out when multiple incorrect passwords are entered.

## Initial attempt
The first time you enter the wrong password, you will receive a message informing you that your login attempt was unsuccessful.

## Third attempt
After three unsuccessful attempts at logging in, the message will inform you that you will soon be locked out and provide a counter that lets you know how many attempts you have before you are locked out for 5 minutes.
You will have a total of 7 attempts to enter the correct password before you are locked out of AgileCase for 5 minutes.

## After 7 attempts
After all 7 attempts have been expended, you will be informed that you are now locked out of AgileCase. You will be able to attempt to log in again after 5 minutes.
